Radiography
Radiographs are a valuable diagnostic tool in a periodontal
evaluation, but rather than use conventional film radiographs, we use the state
of the art technology called computerized digital radiography, or CDR. The CDR
system provides a safer, cleaner, faster and more accurate method of obtaining
radiographic images, while reducing radiation exposure up to 90%.
Our office has the technology to transmit all CDR and
imaging data directly to the patient’s doctor or other specialists via the
internet over secure connections to avoid delays in treatment and for much
improved communication.
